A translucent scrim of polycarbonate panels cantilevers over the wood base of this new Pagliacci Pizza restaurant. The feature is designed to play with light-both natural and ambient-casting shadows that evolve throughout the day. The scrim’s underside tapers into a sharp angle, a sculptural detail that mirrors angular design elements found in other Pagliacci locations.

The scrim extends over the patio. Its angled support columns carve out more square footage for the outdoor dining area. A slatted bench borders the patio and waterfalls to the ground, pointing toward a water feature.

Inside, contemporary pendants and light red booths are evocative of classic diners. Oak cabinets and exposed wood beams contrast the polished concrete floors and steel countertop, which provides additional seating.
