The Firm

Founded in 1999 by Richard Floisand and Allison Hogue, Floisand Studio Architects is a full-service architecture and design firm working in Washington, Idaho, and Alaska. Our portfolio spans residential and commercial projects of all scales - from planning and new construction to adaptive reuse, interiors, furniture, and lighting.

Our work isn’t tied to a single style. Instead, it’s shaped by context, culture, and the people we design for - resulting in thoughtful, well-crafted and detailed solutions that endure.

Our process is collaborative and hands-on, balancing our clients’ goals, budgets, and site conditions with creative problem-solving. After more than two decades of guiding projects from concept through construction, our greatest reward is the trust of returning clients—and the referrals that follow.
